 stry. Governments and other customers are looking to open technologies to 
 deliver a digital transformation that both secures autonomy and competitiv
 eness. For the European open source industry to deliver\, however\, capaci
 ty-building is needed.\n\nFollowing the success of the last APELL conferen
 ce in Helsinki\, the APELL Conference 2024 aims to further shape the futur
 e of the open source industry in Europe and provide crucial political impe
 tus\, especially in the run-up to the upcoming European Parliament electio
 ns.\n\nThe conference will provide a unique platform for in-depth discussi
 ons\, the exchange of ideas\, and the development of common strategies to 
 strengthen the European open source industry. Through a series of workshop

 nd intensify networking between the individual European member association
