  rest of the world. Held annually in Bolzano\, South Tyrol (Italy)\, the c
 onference focuses on the potential of Software Freedom as a driver for inn
 ovation\, digital sovereignty and sustainable development.\n\nFounded in 2
 001 on the initiative of the Linux User Group Bozen-Bolzano-Bulsan (LUGBZ)
 \, SFSCON has become one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to Free So
 ftware. Since 2005\, it has been organised and promoted by NOI Techpark (f
 ormerly TIS innovation park)\, in South Tyrol’s leading innovation and r
 esearch district. Every year\, SFSCON welcomes over 1\,000 attendees\, cre
 ating a vibrant space for learning\, dialogue and community building.\n\nS
 FSCON offers a space where experts\, students and enthusiasts come togethe
 r to exchange ideas\, share best practices and explore the latest trends i
 n open technologies. With its diverse and growing line-up of speakers from
  around the world\, it is a key meeting point for the international Free S
 oftware community.\n\nSince 2004\, the South Tyrol Free Software Award (SF
 S Award) has been presented annually at the conference\, celebrating indiv
 iduals that have made outstanding contributions to Free Software. In 2023\
 , SFSCON introduced the European SFS Award\, extending this recognition to
