DESCRIPTION:Organised under the theme of “turning EU open source ambitio
 ns into reality”\, the 2027 Summit\, looks at how the European Commissio
 n's Open Source Strategy can be put into practice. Discussions will cover 
 how the EU can reduce its technological dependency while being an active c
 ontributor to global cooperation\, keep its existing digital businesses co
 mpetitive and help new ones grow\, and support the open source ecosystem i
 n reaching these aims. \n\nThe EU Open Source Policy Summit is OpenForum E
 urope’s annual flagship policy event. It brings together the people shap
 ing Europe’s digital agenda to examine how open source and open innovati
 on fit into the EU’s legislative and policy priorities.\n\nParticipants
