Collaboration in communities has become an important driver of digital innovation in recent years: Source code is shared and collaborated on within companies in inner-source projects and across company boundaries in open-source projects. In this way, many successful initiatives have been and are being launched that further develop technologies and applications. Transparent exchange is important here: those who share ideas and experiences openly can solve tasks themselves more quickly, achieve progress faster and also support others in the process. This promotes cooperation, mutual understanding and tolerance within a community - and even more: it creates an atmosphere that encourages people to get involved and become and remain a community. Open cooperation at eye level is a decisive factor for the success of open source! With this in mind, we cordially invite you to this year's Bitkom Forum Open Source with the theme "Open Source. Shaping together!". The forum offers a framework to share and discuss experiences and ideas.
