Kielux - Kieler Open-Source- und Linux-Tage
(source)
Every year in September, close to the international Software Freedom Day, the Kiel Open Source and Linux Days take place in Kiel at the Kiel Innovation and Technology Center (and online).
In 2024, we would like to organize a hybrid event. This means that we plan to offer lectures, workshops, activities and an exhibition on site and to stream the lectures. There may also be additional workshops that take place online.
The event will offer its visitors a balanced combination of conference with lectures and hands-on workshops, exhibition and supporting program. There will also be plenty to eat and drink.
The diverse format opens up many opportunities for visitors, companies and projects to come into contact with each other in an informal setting and promotes the exchange of ideas between all participants.
The selection of topics for the presentations and workshops is regularly wide-ranging, so that both beginners and experts get their money's worth during a visit to “Kielux”.
Even though the Kiel Open Source and Linux Days have a strong regional focus, visitors, speakers and exhibitors come from all parts of Germany.
In addition to the “big” Linux Days, additional events, such as theme days, workshops or evening lectures, also take place at irregular intervals.
Admission is free - both for the additional events and for the Kiel Open Source and Linux Days.
