The Poznan Free Software Event (P.I.W.O.) is an open, free conference organised at Poznan University of Technology, whose main goal is to spread the idea of free and open software and promote GNU/Linux systems.
This all-day event consists of lectures, workshops, lightning talks, exhibitions, as well as LAN Party competitions and tournaments. Lecture topics cover a wide range of issues - programming, security, hacking, hardware, gaming, DevOps, network administration and even legal issues related to free software. There will also be free pizza and opportunities for community integration.
The conference is aimed at both beginners and professionals, including programmers, administrators, students, high school students and free software enthusiasts.
