BachoTeX is an annual conference organized by the Polish TeX users group — GUST.

The aim of the conference is to popularize the TeX computer typesetting system (Plain, LaTeX, ConTeXt, …) and related software. However, many of the issues discussed concern the general subject of typography, the cultivation of its principles and the use of new technologies.

The 31st BachoTeX conference will also be a EuroTeX thus its official name: EuroBachoTeX 2026. Perhaps it is high time: there was no EuroTeX since 2013 (https://www.gust.org.pl/bachotex/2013).

Please note that participants are expected by the evening of April 28th (Tuesday) as the conference starts early on Wednesday.

EuroBachoTeX 2026 is being organized with the help from DANTE e.V. (https://www.dante.de). Involvement from other TUGs, especially European, is most welcome.

The conference takes place in a recreation center located in a protected forest on the picturesque Bachotek Lake near Brodnica.
