Self-Description *
We invite you for a whole day and night of hacking and socializing. If you are passionate about DIY tech, open-source coding, and digital independence, then put your cat ears on and come to Wrocław on October 18th, 2026 (Sunday). All crafty people, engineers and artists are welcome, not just programmers! You can: bring something you made, or are currently working on, see what others are doing, collaborate on new projects, join a cuddle pile, decompress in the quiet area, or just hang out and meet new people! The event starts at 9 AM and we will stay until late in the night. The space is free from discrimination, alcohol, recreational drugs and generative AI. You can join at any time during the event. We will provide free access to electricity, Internet, potable tap water, tea, kitchenette, bathrooms, and FFP2 masks. Bring your laptop or any other devices you need. A reusable cup can be useful. Remember to stock up on snacks and non-alcoholic drinks, because most stores are closed on Sundays. Whenever you need, you can go to the quiet room to decompress. There will be couches, beanbags, and foam pads for floor time. The room doubles as the cuddle area remember to respect everyone’s personal space and keep conversations to a necessary minimum. The venue The venue has 3 rooms plus a kitchenette and gender-neutral restrooms. One of the rooms will be the quiet decompression space with cuddling amenities, the main room has desks, chairs, a TV we can use, and all the internet plugs. The third we can use for anything we want ^^ maybe workshops by day and music at night, without disturbing the other two rooms. The whole area is wheelchair-accessible. Wardrobe or safekeeping facilities won't be provided. We arranged for all indoor CCTV to be disabled. How to attend If you want to attend, or have any questions or suggestions, please contact us at stacktracetonowhere@protonmail.com. Please give us up to 48h to approve your spot because spaces are limited. The exact location of the event will be given only after getting your attendance approved. Learn more about what we want this event to be Decentralized Take responsibility and initiative as much as you can and feel like: propose a workshop, bake cookies or show off your art. If you want to keep in touch with someone, remember to exchange your contact info: there are no “official” group channels of communication. Anti-corporate Even if the event grows bigger with time, we won’t accept commercial sponsors. Please support us if you want (financially or otherwise), but you can’t buy your way in to promote your business or influence what the event is about. Queer-friendly The event is not targeted exclusively towards LGBTQ+ people, but we encourage all of you to freely express your identities. Cozy We provide a small cuddle area in a separate room. This is a place to rest, decompress and quietly hang out with other people. Non-political If you are looking for a debate club or an organisation with clearly defined political goals, this for sure isn’t it. We don’t gatekeep based on political views, but if your opinions inspire you to be aggressive or to derail conversations, you are not welcome. Diverse We do our best to make this space safe and accessible to members of marginalized groups. The venue is wheelchair-accessible. Please inform us of your accessibility needs and other important considerations. Sober Using substances other than caffeine or prescription medications is prohibited. People who show signs of intoxication will be asked to leave. Smoking cigarettes (including e-cigarettes and tobacco heaters) is allowed at least 20 m away from the venue.

Type in anything that is special about this event and not similar to other events. This should be something with organisational value and open for everyone attending. A "speakers dinner" before the event for example does not qualify as it is not open to everyone attending. A special guest or an important keynote does not qualify either as this is nothing of organisational importance but rather content. Specialties that could be mentioned are for example an award ceremony, a public pre- or afterparty, an open speaker's corner and similar things.
